We didn't win the Auggie, but I saw a whale!

It was an honor for the Tanit XR team to be finalists at the Auggie Awards this year at AWE, in the Best Societal Impact category. We didn't win, but I can tell you we got one of the loudest cheers in the room.

And then, the next day, a giant whale fully jumped out of the ocean in front of me. Witnessing that has long been on my bucket list. I'm taking it as a sign, and we'll see you at the Auggies again next year!

Thank you to everyone who voted for Tanit XR, and to everyone who came up at AWE to say they've been following our work, especially the community at XR Women Global. One of our amazing volunteers, Margarita Johnson, joined me on stage to co-present our talk on the scan-to-XR pipeline, and Kelly, my teammate at Froliq, and I had the best time running our sustainability soccer game on the playground.

AWE was incredible this year. Already can't wait for the next one.
