🔥 HIGHLIGHTS — Don’t Miss These!



💰 GRANTS & PRIZES


🎮 Global Voices Challenge ( Games for Change ) 

📅 Deadline: Oct 3, 2025 

📍 Location: Global / Online 

👥 Eligibility: Creators with a game already released on PC, console, or web who can port it to Android/Google Play; especially open to underrepresented voices 

✏️ Three winners will receive $15,000, hands-on mentorship from mobile game experts, and visibility through Games for Change’s platform.


🎨 The Hopper Prize 

📅 Deadline: Nov 11, 2025 

📍 Location: Global / Online 

👥 Eligibility: Visual artists & photographers worldwide 

✏️ Six unrestricted artist grants totaling $13,000 (two at $4,500 and four at $1,000). Winners also gain visibility through an online showcase.


🎮 Immerse\Interact Grant Scheme 


📅 Deadline: Sept 30, 2025 

📍 Location: Netherlands/EU-based (but open to international collaborations) 

👥 Eligibility: Professional makers, collectives & producers in immersive/interactive media 

✏️ Supports development and realization of VR, AR, MR, and interactive projects. Funding up to €125,000 is available for production.


🎓 FELLOWSHIPS


🌍 Echoing Green Fellowship 2026 

📅 Deadline: Oct 8, 2025 

📍 Location: Global (virtual program + network) 

👥 Eligibility: Early-stage social entrepreneurs worldwide 

✏️ Provides $100,000, mentorship, and access to a global network of changemakers.


🙏 Dalai Lama Fellows 2026 


📅 Application window: Oct 1 – Nov 12, 2025 

📍 Location: Global (virtual + one in-person assembly) 

👥 Eligibility: Social innovators aged 20–36 worldwide 

✏️ A year-long fellowship with coaching, contemplative leadership training, and a fully funded 5-day international assembly. Not open yet, but included so you can prepare.


🏡 RESIDENCIES


🏙️ @dot.ateliers Artist Residency 2026 (Accra) 


📅 Deadline: Oct 12, 2025 

📍 Location: Accra, Ghana 

👥 Eligibility: Artists worldwide, 18+ 

✏️ Offers studio space, accommodation, materials, and travel support. Fellows connect with Accra’s vibrant creative scene and present work in a final group exhibition.


🏛️ Art Explora – Cité internationale des arts Residency 2026 

📅 Deadline: Oct 31, 2025 

📍 Location: Paris, France 

👥 Eligibility: Artists, curators & researchers (all nationalities, 5+ years of practice) 

✏️ Includes a Paris studio-apartment, €1,000/month stipend, up to €3,000 production support, and travel.


🚀 STARTUP & TECH SHOWCASES


🎭 SXSW XR Experience Exhibition 2026 


📅 Deadline: Oct 1, 2025 

📍 Location: Austin, TX, USA 

👥 Eligibility: XR creators worldwide 

✏️ Showcase your immersive work at SXSW 2026 to thousands of attendees and industry leaders.


🌐 XR Creator Con (XRCC) Global 2025 


📅 Deadline: Nov 20, 2025 

📍 Location: Hybrid (Online + Brussels finals) 

👥 Eligibility: XR teams & individuals worldwide (18+) 

✏️ The world’s largest XR hackathon. Teams compete online, with finalists invited to Brussels for demos, mentorship, and funding opportunities.
